The 7 hours tour is a great option if you just have a short day and still want to see some of Iceland's top attractions.
This tour can take you to see the top attractions of the Golden Circle; Thingvellir National Park, Geysir geothermal area and the powerful waterfall Gullfoss.
It is also a great choice if you want to go hiking in the Volcanoes of Reykjanes peninsula, explore lava and volcanic craters, see geothermal hot spring areas, even bathe in a hot stream and have lunch in a small local restaurant.
Driving towards West of Iceland is also exciting. There you can see the powerful hot spring Deildartunguhver and the beautiful waterfalls Hraunfossar.
We love to do this tour and when our customers leave it up to us what do do, we leave it up to the Weather Gods. For it doesn't really matter where you go, you will see some extraordinary places. Just send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
#1 Do a quick Golden Circle tour, probably the most done tour in Iceland. #2 Explore the Reykjanes peninsula, a truly off the beaten path part of Iceland with amazing views. #3 Visit the West of Iceland full of beautiful places, hot springs & waterfalls.
This tour is like "the chef's favorite" on the menu. Depending on what you want to see, the seasons and the weather we will design the best 7 hour tour possible at any given day. We are all locals, and having been in Iceland our whole lives the constantly changing weather conditions have made us very good at adapting and improvising.
The Golden Circle tour is a classic. Almost every traveler wants to see those attractions, the National Park where the Vikings established their parliament and where you can see the tectonic plates pulling apart, the Geysir, geothermal area and the powerful waterfall Gullfoss. Easy to do in 7 hours but does not leave much time to chill and stay a bit longer or to add more sites to the itinerary. If you, however, want to have the possibility to do more on the tour, we recommend taking the full Golden Circle Private Day Tour.
The Reykjanes peninsula is probably the best kept secret of Icelandic tourism today. Too close to the city and the airport to be noticed but this volcanic peninsula is full with breathtaking scenes, mossy lava fields, craters geothermal areas, breaking waves and beautiful lakes. In 7 hours you could enjoy this hidden gem and still make time to dip into the Blue Lagoon, being placed in the middle of the peninsula. We highly recommend having lunch at a charming small restaurant in a nearby town. There you can have the best lobster soup in Iceland, according to a famous American actress that came there not long ago.
The Western part of Iceland also has much to offer. Depending on seasons and weather, your lust to hike or interest in nature and the Icelandic history, we will design a tour for you where you get a little bit of all of these. The West has the most powerful hot spring in Iceland, Deildartunguhver, beautiful waterfalls such as Hraunfossar, mountains and hills to hike up and enjoy the view and classical icelandic hot springs/swimming pools to bathe in.
In this half day tour we offer hot chocolate and "kleina" the Icelandic twisted doughnut.
Weather appropriate clothes and sturdy shoes.
Swim suit is also great if we should want to dip into hot geothermal water on the way.
Full refund if cancelled due to weather. Cancellation fee can be witheld if cancelled with short notice.
