Educational programs for schools and universities

In addition to privately guided tours, Reykjavík Erupts also provides its expertise in designing, coordinating and operating programs for a number of international schools, colleges and universities while maintaining our principles of authenticity and flexibility.

Working in close coordination with faculty members, programs have been delivered that satisfy academic objectives and faculty requirements to provide an engaging and successful experience. Our packages include the itinerary, accommodation, transfers, guiding and operation of daily tours. We also have a number of trusted local partners and third-party operators if a program is interested in additional services.

While we’re keen to cater to a wide range of programs, we have particular experience in programs focused on Iceland’s geology and geography, history and literature. It’s also an appealing destination for programs targeting sustainability, renewable energy and environmental science.
