If you’re looking to travel in Iceland but are concerned about your ability to safely visit and enjoy everything the country has to offer, please let us know.
While it’s not without its risks, Iceland is becoming increasingly accessible and thanks to our local knowledge, we can tailor your itinerary to accommodate your needs without sacrificing your enjoyment.
Accessible Tourism
The Icelandic Tourist Board’s “Accessible Tourism” project was also recently introduced to “improve accessibility in tourism for disabled people”, which encourages companies to satisfy a range of criteria in order to show in a tangible way that they care about all visitors. The project is intended for accommodation, restaurants, museums and swimming pools and companies within other categories are also going to be involved in future.
When it comes to visiting natural highlights, Iceland’s rugged terrain can be challenging but efforts are being made at many of the country’s most popular locations to enable wheelchair access. Wheelmap is a great resource if you’d like to take a closer look at where you can and can’t visit and we also rely on our local knowledge to give you the best possible vantage points.
Each of the following tours would be suitable for anyone with mobility or accessibility issues and in the vast majority of cases, only minor adjustments would be required. There are no additional charges associated with these adjustments and we are committed to being fully inclusive to people of all backgrounds and abilities.
Starting from 1900 USD for up to 3 people. Additional 100 USD per person, capped at 2500 USD for a maximum of 9 people.
We’ll help you get the most out of your Iceland adventure — with no rush, no stress, and no strangers.
